Which countries have you hired in?
I have lived and worked in a number of countries around the world, including the UK, the Netherlands, Singapore, Korea, India and the USA. I’ve also hired for companies in almost every major market, giving me exposure to candidates from all backgrounds and walks of life.
What is your industry experience?
During my time at Uber, I helped grow the company from around 50 employees in Singapore, and Asia, to over 1000, as one of the first recruiters in the region. I helped hire for almost every key function within the company from Security, to Design, to Marketing, and Sales. I also played a key role in helping the company hire in newly launched markets, like Thailand, Malaysia and Japan.
Subsequently, at Netflix, I formed part of the initial talent acquisition function in Singapore, and helped support the company’s growth from a 40-person team to over 500 people, spanning a number of countries including Korea and India. As one of the first recruiters at Netflix, I covered every function that we hired for, including Content, Marketing, PR/Comms/Publicity and Engineering. After relocating to Europe with Netflix, I was tasked with helping the company in its EMEA expansion, and in hiring in new locations like Turkey and Poland. In this role, I supported the growth of Corporate Functions, covering everything from Finance to Security, from Tax Accounting to IT Support, and Legal to Public Policy.
In my previous role, I led the talent acquisition function at Calm in Europe, as the company looked to double-down on its commitment to hiring in the region.
In 2022, I joined Chainalysis, the world’s leading Blockchain analytics platform, as their first Lead Technical Recruiter. In this role, I’m responsible for hiring across all of the company’s R&D functions, including Engineering, Product and Data Science, across Europe and the US.
